ABSTRACT
Data on the situation of young people clearly show that the situation of young people
has made significantly worse in recent years. The intensification of corrective activities in
the area of education and training system aims at the reduction of number of people falling
out of the education system and improving the access to some services, like education and
training. According to the Danish legislator providing the proper and necessary knowledge
and skills to young people will improve their situation on the labour market. Adopted by
the Danes course of action should perhaps be a benchmark for the process of developing
education and training policy and labour market policy in Poland, where a large number
of young people have serious problems with entering and staying on the labour market.
